I went to the preliminary round of my high school reunion this evening. Which one...ninety-fifth? Actually, the thirtieth.
In some ways, that really is a hell of a long time. In others, not really. Everybody's around forty-eight years old.
I only saw four people tonight. There's a larger gathering tomorrow. I was the only male classmate. One girl (lady) came with her husband from Texas for the weekend. Another girl (lady), from my neighborhood, was with her husband. I saluted both husbands for it.
It was a very nice evening. I was never really close friends with these women, but I always thought highly of them, and it was good to enjoy their company away from the context of high school. What am I saying - high school was childhood, for god's sake. This was like meeting new people, except I already knew them and was very comfortable with them.
I had my kids come to give me a ride home, so I could show them off. Why not?

Hello, yeah, it's been a while...not much, how 'bout you? *
There are things going on, significant (and COMPLETELY unexpected) events that I'm not ready to publicly broadcast.
Talbot Sound has seen some activity, and I think that over the next several months will gradually see more.
Here's a little something I had to deal with recently.
All for now.
